Cable Terminal Inspection (Inspection Cycle, Check Content)

The inspection cycle is checked according to the on-site operation, power outage every 1 to 3 years. The outdoor cable terminal is patrolled once a month, and power-off cleaning inspections are conducted every February and November.

The check contents are as following:
① The insulating sleeve should be complete, clean, and free of flashover discharge traces. There is no nest near it;
②The joints are in good contact and there is no heat;
③ Whether the insulating rubber is collapsed, softened and accumulated;
④ Whether the terminal head leaks oil, lead package and seal lead have no cracks;
⑤Whether the phase between the core wire and the lead wire and the ground distance meets the requirements, and whether the ground wire is in good condition;
⑥ Whether the phase color obvious. Whether it matches the phase of the power system.
