Maintenance procedures for electrical equipment

Electrical equipment is a general term for generators, transformers, power lines, circuit breakers and other equipment in the power system. Let’s talk about maintenance procedures for electrical equipment:
(1)Disconnect the low-voltage side circuit breaker of the transformer to be maintained, pull down the isolating switch, and hang the corresponding sign on the handle.
(2)Disconnect the load switch on the high-voltage side of the transformer, confirm that the grounding knife is closed after the disconnection position, and complete the safety of the switch and hang the relevant identification plates.
(3)Enter the oil transformer room, first use a high-voltage electroscope to confirm whether the transformer is in a power outage state, then pull out the high-voltage isolation knife, and then check whether the shell, porcelain bottle and lead wires are deformed. If there is oil leakage, the rubber pad should be replaced to check whether the silica gel is effective. If there is discoloration or serious failure, it should be replaced immediately.
(4)Re-tighten the lead terminals, pins, and grounding screws; if the entry screw is loose, remove the screw and file the contact surface with a fine flat file. After touching it with your hand without any uneven feeling, wipe it with a clean cloth. Remove dust, apply petroleum jelly, replace with new spring washers, and tighten screws.
(5)Check whether the lighting, heat dissipation and dust removal equipment around the transformer are in good condition, and wipe off the dust on the transformer body and porcelain bottle with a clean cloth.

(6)Check the load switch on the high-voltage side of the transformer to ensure that the operation is agile, the contact is good, and the transmission part is lubricated
