The classification of zinc oxide arresters can be distinguished according to many aspects.

Here, we mainly introduce the classification of zinc oxide arresters in detail by the rated voltage value.

The rated voltage classification of zinc oxide arresters can be divided into high voltage, medium voltage and low voltage, and these three categories are subdivided into four grades.

According to the rated voltage value, the zinc oxide arrester can be divided into three types:

1. High voltage
Refers to the series of zinc oxide arresters with a grade of 66KV or above, which can be roughly divided into four grades: 500kV, 220kV, 110kV and 66kV.

2. Medium voltage
Refers to the zinc oxide arrester series products in the range of 3kV ~ 66kV (excluding 66kV series products), which can be roughly divided into four voltage levels: 3kV, 6kV, 10kV and 35KV.

3. Low voltage
Refers to the zinc oxide arrester series products below 3KV (excluding 3kV series products), which can be roughly divided into four voltage levels: 1kV, 0.5kV, 0.38kV and 0.22kV.
