The function of load switch The load switch is an electrical switch, which is mainly used to control the opening and closing state of normal load current and overload current in the circuit.

1. Isolation circuit: During a power outage or maintenance of electrical equipment, the equipment is isolated and protected by cutting off the circuit and load.

2. Protection of equipment: When overload, short circuit and other faults occur in the circuit, the load switch can cut off the circuit in time to prevent equipment damage and protect the safety of users.

3. Breaking the circuit: When segmented control of the circuit is required, the load switch can realize segmented power-off of the circuit.


The principle of load switch The principle of load switch is based on electromagnetic principle and heat release principle. When current passes through the load switch, the electromagnet coil will receive the current signal, generate a magnetic field force, and drive the contacts connected to the load to produce corresponding actions. At the same time, the load switch also protects the circuit through a quenching device and a heat release device. When a fault occurs in the circuit, the heat release device will heat up quickly and automatically disconnect the contacts of the load switch to prevent electrical equipment from being burned by overload.

Can the load switch cut off normal load current and overload current? According to the function and principle of the load switch, the load switch can cut off the normal load current and overload current in the circuit, as well as the instantaneous current. Therefore, the load switch can not only cut off overload current, but also cut off short-circuit current and normal load current.
