1. The structure composition of the fuse
 
The low -voltage fuse is composed of a fuse, a fuse base and a fuse supporting part.
The melt is the core component made of silk (fuse) or sheet (melting sheet). Low melting point melts are made of pupae alloys, tin lead alloys, zinc and other materials; high melting point melts are made of copper, silver, and aluminum.
According to the structural type, the fuse is divided into tube fuse, screw -type fuse, plug -in fuse, box fuse, etc.
 
2. The working principle of the fuse
 

The load current passes through the melt. Due to the thermal effect of the current, the temperature of the melt has increased. When the circuit occurs overload or a short circuit failure, the current is greater than the normal heating current allowed by the melt to increase the temperature of the melt. The melt fuses by itself and separated the circuit to protect the electrical equipment.
