At present, more and more countries use vacuum circuit breakers. After long-term use, the performance of the equipment needs to be tested. So what are the testing standards? Let’s talk about that next.

1. Dense insulation system (shell):

The airtight insulation system composed of an airtight insulating cylinder made of ceramics, glass or glass-ceramics, a moving end cover plate, a fixed end cover plate, and a stainless steel bellows is a vacuum sealed container. In order to ensure air tightness, in addition to strict operating techniques in the sealing type, the material itself is also required to be breathable and have a small amount of internal air release.

2. Conductive system:

It consists of a fixed conductive rod, a fixed arc surface, a fixed contact, a movable contact, a movable arc surface, and a movable conductive rod. There are roughly three types of contact structures: cylindrical contacts, transverse magnetic field contacts with spiral grooves and arc surfaces, and longitudinal magnetic field contacts. Currently using longitudinal magnetic field technology, this arc extinguishing chamber has strong and stable arc breaking capabilities.

3. Shielding system:

The shielding cover is an indispensable component in the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber, and there are many types such as the main shielding cover surrounding the contacts, the bellows shielding cover, and the voltage equalizing shielding cover. The function of the main shield is to: a. Prevent arc products from splashing onto the inner wall of the insulating shell during the arc burning process, thereby reducing the insulation strength of the shell. b. Improving the uniformity of electric field distribution inside the arc extinguishing chamber will help reduce local field strength and promote the miniaturization of the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber. c Condensation of the arc products absorbs part of the arc energy and helps to restore the strength of the back-arc gap medium. Base, insulating supports, insulators, etc.
