How to install insulators

Insulators are an important part of the power insulation system and are mainly used to isolate and support power equipment and power lines. Correct installation of insulators can ensure the safe operation of the power system. The following are the installation methods and lifespan of insulators:

1. Clean the installation location: Before installing the insulator, the installation location must be cleaned, including removing dust, oil and other debris. If necessary, clean with detergent and make sure the installation location is clean.

2. Install the bracket: Install the insulator bracket correctly on the bracket and fix it. The installation position of the bracket should be perpendicular to the ground and parallel to the bracket.

3. Install the insulator: Install the insulator on the bracket and fix it. Make sure the insulator is completely vertical to the ground and parallel to the bracket during installation.

4. Connect cables and equipment: After installing the insulator, connect the cables and equipment to the insulator. When connecting, make sure all connections are tight, seamless, and have good contact.

5. Carry out insulation test: Carry out insulation test after installation to ensure that the insulation performance of the insulator and connection meets the requirements. If problems are found, they should be repaired and adjusted in time.
