Brief Introduction of High Voltage Insulators

The pollution flashover of high voltage transmission line insulators is one of the important factors affecting the operation of the power grid.

3.According to the application, it is divided into line insulators, power station and electrical insulators. Among them, the breakdown insulators used for lines include pin type, butterfly type, disc type, non-breakdown type, cross arm type and rod type suspension type.

Most of the fittings need to withstand large tension during operation, and some of them also need to ensure good electrical contact, which is related to the safety of wires or towers.
